Welcome back to another blog post of Mental Health Thursday.
Today I wanted you ( our readers) to follow some basic things that we should do for ourselves rather than making self deprecating jokes about ourselves. Self love is a form of best therapy you can do for yourselves.
We all are born with perfections and imperfections, all of us. While some of us only look at the perfections, others only look at the imperfections. The important formula I have learnt in the process of loving myself is to appreciate both equally because that makes me who I am.
For example, I love my brain and the creativity that flows out of it, at the same time I love my impulsive behavior that gets me in trouble sometimes.
Why?? Because that’s just who I am. And all I have to do is learn to be patient with situations, not despise myself for being born like this.

Here are a few things you should do for yourself:
- APPRECIATE HOW SPECIAL YOU ARE

- DROWN YOURSELF IN AFFIRMATIONS

- DO THINGS YOU LOVE TO DO

- DITCH SELF DEPRECATING HUMOR

- LET THE LOVE IN

- DON’T COMPARE YOURSELF TO OTHERS (JUST DON’T PLEASE)

- FORGIVE YOURSELF

- BE GRATEFUL FOR WHO YOU ARE

- LOVE YOURSELF
