Gratitude!

A simple word but with a deep meaning and feeling!

And an important Emotion to have to lead a Happy life!

How are you?!

As we promised in our post regarding MENTAL HEALTH , We are back with a short post to remind you to take care of your Mental Health this Thursday

We often have thoughts like “I don’t have anything”

We Have these thoughts because we don’t know to be grateful for so much that is already in our grasp!

And that’s why we only tend to remember bad memories bad circumstances,etc. Instead of focusing on the good of that moment we focus on the bad!

And forget to be grateful for the god’s blessings that we have!

So I’m here to remind you to be grateful!

Be grateful!

Even for the smallest of things things you don’t even think to be grateful about!

Like Breathing!

You might be thinking what’s there to be grateful about to be /for breathing?!

But there are many people out there who can’t even breathe properly!

Also breathing means that you are alive!

Be grateful for as simple a thing as breathing!

Be grateful for the roof over your head.

Be grateful for the food you eat

Be grateful for having a family

Be grateful for being healthy

And if you r not healthy be grateful for being alive!

There’s Always something to be grateful for!

But we tend to focus on the bad and forget the good!

And in return our Mental Health suffers, we suffer!

Focus on the good rather than the bad

Be grateful!

I once heard a story where a man wrote down all the bad that happened to him

Then the wife took that list and Turned that very list into a list for things to be grateful for

I don’t remember the list exactly but it was something like this :

Man: my grandfather died

Woman: He was freed from his pain

Man: my company went bankrupt

Woman: Atleast we still have our house and other properties

And so on ….

So Remember that there is a good in every situation!

There is always something to be grateful for everyday!

So, Be Grateful…. Practice Gratefulness!

Make a Gratitude Journal!
